The Military Emergency Unit (UME) and Civil Protection of Totana today received the "X Pimentón de Oro" award during the XI Gang Meeting of El Raiguero, which is held every year organized by the Asociación Empecemos a Caminar and the Rural women from this Totanera village.
In the contest participated the gangs of Zaraiche, Isla Plana, La Hoya, Asociación Trovera "El Repuntín", Group "El Patiñero", Cardoso I and II and Tomás García Martínez on guitar.
The act was attended by the government delegate in Murcia, Diego Conesa, and numerous regional and local authorities;
as well as representatives of the business and economic fabric of the Guadalentín region.
