Many people came to the Square of the Constitution of Totana on Saturday, in addition to tasting a delicious ham dish, collaborating with rare diseases.
The II Solidarity Court of Ham, for the benefit of the Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes and the International Association of Relatives and Affected of Lipodystrophies (AELIP) was a success and there were many neighbors and visitors who acquired their plate of ham and drink by the price of 3 euros.
In addition, with the entry you could also participate in the draw of several jamoneras.
The initiative counted on the collaboration of the City council of Totana and several signatures and companies: Elpozo, Bodegas Luzón, Aquadeus, professional Hamsmiths BUARFE, Heineken and Bakery Step.
In the morning and afternoon the ham dishes that the expert cutters were preparing were sold among the people who came and who were served by members and volunteers of the D'Genes and AELIP associations.
Among them, precisely, members of the directive of D'Genes and the president of AELIP, Naca Eulalia Pérez de Tudela.
From both associations we want to thank all the companies and entities that collaborated contributing the necessary products so that the activity could be developed in a satisfactory way.
Likewise, we want to thank the ham cutters who participated by putting their good work at the service of this cause.
