The Municipal Registry of Associations and Entities of Totana, which manages the Department of Citizen Participation of the City of Totana, has a total of 440 associations of various kinds which make up the social fabric of the municipality, of which around 84% they are currently active
The Department of Citizen Participation is located in the Socio-Cultural Center "La Cárcel", together with the Youth and Culture Councils, and one of its main objectives is the support to non-profit groups and associations in the municipality.
For this, several services are offered, among which the Information, Guidance and Advice Service to Associations- SIOA stands out, through which it is oriented and informs about different topics of interest;
constitution of associations, registry registration procedures, elaboration of projects, etcetera;
and the loan services of municipal social premises and material support for the development of non-profit activities.
