On Saturday, August 25, the XXXIV edition of the popular Mojácar race was held, it is a 9.6 km test with a hard profile.
The race begins in the town, the athletes go down for more than three kilometers, cross a rambla and soon the race is reversed, with a hard climb of more than three kilometers and ending in the Plaza del Mirador de Mojácar.
In the test that participated more than one hundred runners, the athlete of the CAT, Raul Cifuentes, finished in fourth position of the general and second in the category Veteran A with a time of 36 minutes and 53 seconds.
That day also played the "Matterhorn Ultraks Sky Race" in the Swiss Alps, very close to the border with Italy.
The test consisted in turning the Matterhorn (Monte Cervino), perhaps one of the most known mountains in Europe due to its pyramid shape and its altitude of almost 4,500 meters.
Stefan Pracht participated in this tough event, whose start and finish was located in the town of Zermatt and had an official distance of 49.4 km and 3270 meters of ascent.
Stefan finished in the 102 position of the general and 8th in the Master category M50, with a great time of 7 hours and 16 minutes.
