The Department of Procurement of the City of Totana reminds that all natural and legal persons who want to tender, through the new simplified procedure, must be inscribed in the Official Register of Bidders and Classified Companies of the Public Sector (ROLECE), although until September -which is six months after the entry into force of this Law- will not be required.
This requirement is made by virtue of the provisions of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, which regulates a new procedure called "Simplified Procedure", which is the most common.
For this reason, the City Council of Totana recommends the convenience of all those people and companies that want to contract with any Public Administration and, especially, with the Town Councils, have to register in the aforementioned Official Registry of Tenderers and Classified Companies of the Public sector.
Registration in the Registry facilitates the concurrence of bidders and streamlines the processing of Public Procurement files, thus reducing the administrative burden of the contracting process, avoiding bidders the need to provide in each procurement procedure the documents that certify the inscribed in the Registry.
To register in this Registry it is necessary to submit a telematic application, using the forms available at the Registry's electronic address, and sign it with the electronic certificate of the interested party or its representative (electronic ID).
Afterwards it is necessary to incorporate the documentation accrediting the registration requested.
