The Municipal Sports Center "December 6" Totana hosted on Sunday morning the sixth day for rare diseases consisting of four hours of continuous swimming, to benefit the Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes.
A score of swimmers took part in this activity, organized by D'Genes, in collaboration with Proidman, Club Natación Máster Murcia and the Department of Sports of the Consistory of Totana.
The male participant who traveled the most meters made 13,900, while in the case of the females the one that swam the most meters made a total of 11,700.
The initiative served to give visibility to the infrequent pathologies and in addition, the money raised will be used to maintain the portfolio of services that D'Genes provides to improve the quality of life of people living with rare diseases.
D'Genes would like to thank all the participating swimmers and people who have supported this initiative for their collaboration and contribution to the cause of rare diseases.
He also thanks the representatives of the association who attended to support the logistical and organizational tasks.
