The first deputy mayor, Juan José Cánovas, on behalf of the Municipal Corporation, presided over the institutional reception that was offered to the teachers totaneros of Primary Education that on July 19 presented the so-called Zeta Model "Emotional & Social Intelligence" at the International Congress of Education and Learning, held in Paris.

The investigating professors and entrepreneurs of this method are Pedro Antonio García Tudela and Pedro Marín, who were received in the plenary hall and explained what this pedagogical method is, the repercussion of it during the congress and which are the next paths that it will experience in the coming years.

As they explained, the Zeta Model is a theoretical method of emotional and social intelligence with a totally pedagogical orientation, that is, it is totally predestined to work in primary education classrooms.

In this regard, they commented that the Zeta Model is structured around three skill blocks: intra-emotional, inter-emotional and socio-emotional;

as well as in other significant points, some of which gave an account.

In the same way, this model aims to be adaptable to any school level, curricular content and context.

The promoters commented that emotional intelligence is a concept that has been researched and developed from different disciplines and perspectives;

but nevertheless, in a generalized way, they affirmed that it is the set of personal competences that enable the development and realization of the person in an optimal way.

In addition, they added that the concept of social intelligence is more unknown, although they specified that people construct their reality, their thoughts and emotions as a result of the social conception they have and the context in which they find themselves.

Therefore, they defended that both concepts, emotional and social intelligence, must be made indissoluble, since psychosocial processes must be worked on that guarantee the interconnection between emotions and society.

His work was defended, in a round table format, during the VII International Congress of Education and Learning that took place from July 18 to 20 at the University of Diderot in Paris, whose final considerations were very enriching for this project, according to The promoters.

In addition, several proposals emerged to continue presenting and implementing the Zeta Model, and an example of this is the offer to train teachers in Buenos Aires (Argentina).

As they explained during the reception, the next paths of Modelo Zeta will be to implement the educational program that is in the process of being developed;

continue to provide and train the different educational communities and continuously improve the theoretical and practical bases of the generated model.
