Last Tuesday, July 24 took place the awards ceremony of the IX Economy Olympiad of the Region of Murcia, in an act chaired by the dean of the Faculty of Economics and business, center that organizes these Olympics.
As reported by the organization in a statement, the act itself was attended by the Managing Director of the Seneca Foundation and the Ilmo.

This Olympiad is part of the program of Scientific Olympiads of the Region of Murcia funded by the Seneca Foundation, and has the collaboration of the Association of Economists of the Region of Murcia and the Association of Teachers of Secondary Economics (ADESMUR).
The tests were conducted on April 13 at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Murcia and participated 185 students from 34 center of the Region of Murcia.
The top 10 students have received a diploma accrediting their classification, as well as the secondary teachers who prepared them and who accompanied them to receive the award.
In addition, the first three classified and the teacher of the winning student, the center has given them a Tablet and the secondary coordinator, on behalf of the Vice-Rectorate for Studies, has given them a copy of the book "The Psychology of Economics" , of the Nobel prize of Economy Richard Thaler.
The president of the Association of Teachers of Economy of the Region of Murcia (ADESMUR), Andrés Nieto, has presented the award to the Monteagudo-Nelva school in recognition of the center whose three students have obtained better classification.
