The Councilor for Economic Development, Juan José Cánovas, has recently inaugurated the Training Course for Treatments with Phytosanitary Pesticides, of basic level, which is attended by around 20 people and has the collaboration of the Union of Small Farmers (UPA),
This course, as in previous editions of agricultural and agri-food training, is being developed in one of the classrooms of the Local Development Center, in the "El Saladar" industrial estate;
and will last for 25 hours, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.
To finish the same the students will have to carry out a practical test-exam in CIFEA-Lorca.
Totana City Council is aware of the importance of training in any sector and taking into account our enclave, training in the agricultural field is considered very useful.
These are free courses, aimed at farmers, ranchers, entrepreneurs and professionals in the agricultural sector, and can also assist anyone who is interested in the handling of plant protection products.
From this Council is informed that, next September, will begin a course of "Training for treatments with pesticides phytosanitary, being this one of Qualified level".
All these training courses, continue to be free and have a completely official validity, receiving students who finish each course, a certificate approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
To attend these courses it is not necessary to fulfill any special requirement, but it is necessary to formalize the registration in the Local Development Center of Totana, Pol. Ind. El Saladar or by calling 968425003.
