The ancient music festival organized by the Sierra Espuña Territory and Early Music Project reveals on Thursday June 21 all its novelties for 2018, from 20:00, in an official presentation that will take place at the Hotel Jardines de The Saint of Totana;
among which are included tourist packages and gastronomic experiences by the six municipalities of Sierra Espuña.
The old music festival of Sierra Espuña, ECOS Festival, has already outlined all the details of its third edition, which will be held from July 18 to 28 in Aledo, Mula, Totana, Alhama de Murcia, Librilla and Pliego.
This is organized by Territorio Sierra Espuña and by the platform directed by Jorge Losana, Early Music Project, so that the ECOS Festival has already become one of the leading events of ancient music of the Southeast at an international level.
To make known all the novelties of this year: resident groups, concerts, children's experiences and the tourism offer designed especially for this third edition, ECOS Festival has organized for this Thursday, coinciding with the European Day of Music, an evening of presentation at the Jardines de La Santa Hotel in Totana.
The event will feature the musical performance of the Ensemble ECOS of Sierra Espuña and a chamber group of the Orchestra of the University of Murcia, who will interpret the scores of the seventeenth century recovered by Early Music Project researchers in a notarial protocol of Caravaca de la Cross.
A cocktail will accompany the closing of the event, courtesy of Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares.
The event will be attended by Pedro Noguera, president of the Commonwealth of Sierra Espuña;
Andrés García, mayor of Totana;
Miriam Guardiola, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Marta López Briones, Director General of ICA and Jorge Losana, Director of ECOS Festival.
In addition, municipal representatives from other municipalities of Sierra Espuña, as well as cultural agents, tourists, sponsors and friends of the festival will also attend.
