The Local Government Board has recently approved the proposal of the council of Finance and Contracting, Ana María Cánovas, to award the company "Constu-Archena, SL" the minor contract for the refurbishment of the sidewalks in Juan XXIII Street , between José Antonio Requena and Juan de la Cierva streets of this town, amounting to 26,287.25 euros.
The term of execution of the works will be of two months and this action is part of the subsidies of the General Directorate of Commerce, Consumption and Administrative Simplification to the municipalities, within the plan to finance actions and investments to reactivate the open commercial centers for the adaptation of municipal infrastructures to the exercise of retail trade to improve its competitiveness.
Pawn maintenance pools
In addition, the Local Government Board has awarded to the merchant "AMG VIP Sport Health and Leisure, SL" service maintenance pawn contract for municipal swimming pools, amounting to 3,690.50 euros, for the two summer months (July and August 2018), for 30 hours a week, under the guidelines of the Department of Sports.
This initiative is promoted by considering that the City does not have staff to maintain in the summer adequate maintenance of municipal swimming pools, which is why it is necessary to make such hiring.
