The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, participated in the inauguration of the exhibition "Entreculturas 2010" in IFEP (Torre Pacheco) in the third room for the Integration of Immigrants and Development Cooperation.

The City Council of Totana, through the Department of Social Welfare, has participated in the fair during the three days that has lasted, with a display which showed the work carried out between the municipal area and the different groups immigrants in Totana.

To the exhibitor totanero, moved the director of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, the government delegate Rafael González Tovar, the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, among others who recorded his signature in the guest book totanero exhibitor.

The council of the area has highlighted the commitment and the commitment that the City of Totana has maintained for the enhancement of intercultural coexistence and integration of immigrant collective.

Also, Carrion recalled the positive experience in terms of distribution and social and institutional recognition, was attended by the Town Council of Totana in this initiative in the past editions, given the great reception that took the diverse sample of activities that were released and stand developed from the municipal and local policies that reflect the town develops towards the integration of immigrants and intercultural harmony.

For his part, Mayor of Totana expressed his great satisfaction with the ongoing work of the Department of Social Welfare in synergy with the 20 associations of immigrants working in the municipality.
