The Municipal People's Party submitted a motion to the House of the Corporation to show solidarity and support to workers and the company ELPOZO Food, Alhama de Murcia, by the fire that occurred at the factory in yesterday.
The Municipal People's Party spokesman, José Antonio Valverde Queen, on behalf of the PP in Totana, communicated to all employees of the company and responsible for it a message of encouragement and unconditional support to the current situation which is the company.
In this sense, the mayor explained that there are many people of Totana working, directly or indirectly, in the meat company and it becomes the livelihoods of hundreds of families in the municipality, so that, despite difficult situation, it's time to look ahead to further strengthen the business plan of ELPOZO Power.
Valverde Queen recalled that although the losses have been in the millions, not personal injury is unfortunate.
In this sense, the PP spokesman congratulated the emergency services who acted in a precise and very professional, a fact that the fire did not cause more damage.
In addition, he recalled that the City of Totana offered the cooperation of the staff of the Local Police and Civil Protection Totana.
