The Councillor for Citizen Participation and Information Technologies, Juan Carrion, closed the training activities taught in the computer room of the Department of Citizenship with the presentation of certificates to all participants.
These training activities are included in the proposed Network Computer Rooms Totana (RAITOTANA), which is a local initiative project that has united under a single name different computer rooms of the town of Totana.
Currently there are 10 classrooms in the municipality computer (4 Walas Open Access, 3 3 Internet Rural Telecentres and set up the computer rooms with Internet access Township) made available to the public, as they result from different agreements signed between the city of Totana and other agencies.
A computer classroom is located on the premises of the Department of Citizenship in which from Monday to Thursday are given training activities of various kinds (Computer Literacy (20 h), Basic Computer and Internet (30 h), Internet ( 20 h), Word Processor Word (20 h), Excel spreadsheet (20 h), Access Database (20 h), Power point (15 h) Digital Photography (15 h), courses free of charge, led all kinds of groups.
Also, the classroom is open on Friday afternoons to allow free access to new technologies for activities related to the Internet: Navigation, Email and Chat, and users are offered services such as webcam video conferencing, printing, scanner, etc.
The Citizen Participation Wala, widely accepted by the public, as stated by the mayor, is one of the network computer rooms with the largest number of training needs, amounting to more than 1,000 requests for training courses conducted by the citizens for next year.
During the closing ceremony of the training, which presented the certificates of participation to all persons who have received training, the Councillor for Citizen Participation and New Technologies expressed great satisfaction with the functioning of the classroom and High participation in it, congratulating the instructor who manages the classroom for the exemplary work that develops and attendees for their participation and involvement in the training given.
He also announced of the interest of continuity for the year 2010 for these actions, wishing the audience a happy holiday season.
