Students and professionals in Occupational Center "José Moya" Totana recently attended a meeting of students of occupational centers involving over 120 people with disabilities from different municipalities of the Region of Murcia, and Alhama de Murcia, Fortuna, The Union and Mazarrón.
The activity was developed in the municipality of La Union, where they were met by local authorities in "The House of the pinion, which is the seat of the municipal corporation.
Afterwards, they strolled through the streets of the town and visited the public market of "The Union" and the Mining Museum in the town.
These visits were attended by guides who provided an explanation of the importance of this mining town in the first half of the twentieth century.
Following these visits, the group moved to the Villa Mayor, where they could enjoy living and entertainment space.
Knowledge of other persons with disabilities and exchange of experiences were some of the positive consequences of this coexistence, as indicated from the Occupational Center Totana.
Also, from this center have shown their appreciation to the City of La Union for organizing the event, which also had the support of the Instituto Murciano Social Action.
