The Councillor for Environment, Trini Cayuela, participated in the free distribution of a total of 1,000 specimens of native flora during the third regional campaign "Clean Up the World," which was held in the town during the morning Saturday came and where many citizens of all ages.

It is an international campaign led by the United Nations Program for the Environment, which promotes local efforts as key to improvements in the environment and promotes long term joint action of administrations, companies, associations, schools and communities individuals.

Regionally, the campaign is coordinated through the Environmental Volunteer Program in Natural Region of Murcia from the General Directorate of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water.

The proceedings provided for in this campaign consisted of free distribution of several native varieties of pine (Aleppo pine and black pine) in the Mobile Information Point, which was installed in the Plaza of the Constitution until stocks last.

This event, organized from the Department of Environment was conducted by Environmental Volunteers Volunteer Service dependent Municipal Councillor for Citizen Participation.
