The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilman of Youth, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, accompanied by the head of "Action Diversa, Gregorio Romero, visited the students who are completing summer schools and putting the touches to the closing ceremony to be held at the end of the week.
The Youth mayor explained that since the Department has worked to keep this activity, which each year has more influx of children, under the same conditions and even improving services.
In this regard, he indicated that all children enrolled have been accepted into the Summer Schools.
For his part, responsible for various actions, Gregorio Romero, has reported that children have participated in games, creative workshops, music, dance, theater, swimming in the sports, environmental awareness activities, among other things.
And this year as a novelty, children have made several trips through them may have known the Workshop of Time and the Fortress of the Sun of Lorca and the Castle of Aledo.
Also, the mayor stressed that besides this is one of the best activities where children learn while they play during the holidays, is also a commitment to the employability of youth in the municipality, for a total of 20 monitors have been hired to develop the workshops by various actions.
