The General Directorate of Emergency active Murcia orange alert for tomorrow heatwave

The National Institute of Meteorology through the Prediction and Monitoring Group of Valencia, has issued a bulletin to the Department of Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning and the Directorate General of Civil Protection, in predicting adverse climatic event of heat wave entire region of Murcia, orange alert level, with maximum temperatures of 39 degrees during the day tomorrow Tuesday 21 July.

The adverse weather phenomenon orange level stands as start time of the impact of this heat wave between 13:00 hours and 19:00 hours, with a probability of 10 to 40 percent.

Therefore, from Totana Civil Protection has offered a series of recommendations to be wary of this heat, among which regular drinking often accused even without thirst (a reference number may be 3 liters in water, juice and soft drinks) and eating foods that promote hydration (gazpacho, watermelon, pears, etc..).

Also, avoid prolonged sun exposure, especially in the middle of the day, use appropriate sunscreen, wear light clothes, attend cool place, avoid hot air flows, no sports in the heat of the day, and drink fluids before and after exercise.
