Totana City Council recalled that the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, in collaboration with the ministry of industry, has opened the application deadline for grants to purchase textbooks from 2009-2010, called "Bonus Book" , will remain open until Wednesday June 24 and has a budget of 16,736,649 euros.
Thus, as noted by the mayor, Trini Cayuela, the Ministry will finance, through the call for aid, free textbooks and supplementary learning materials, all students from first, second, third and fourth year primary and first, second and third year of secondary enrollment in 2009-2010.
To handle the aid, the Ministry has distributed in schools of primary and secondary forms which parents must apply, as reported by Cayuela, adding that the "Bonus Book" may be withdrawn at the school in students to study during the first days of September, to acquire the material in any shop or bookstore in the region.
The help given to the Department through the "Bonus book amounts to 100 euros for students of primary education and 150 euros for High School, with which you can purchase textbooks and school supplies in the network of libraries and other licensed premises.
