The Department of Sports organized a Interschools Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition, which took place last weekend, and where more than 200 students of the municipal sports schools of various points of the Region of Murcia Alhama, Lorca, Totana The Paretón and in even the town of Almeria Pulpí.
Also present were sports clubs and Helionova Sportgym Alhama de Lorca.
The competition took place at the Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez", which registered a full house, with about 800 people who enjoyed throughout the evening performances of several different forms of this sport, like Ball, Rope Aro & Speakers.
Students participated in all categories, with ages between 4 and 18.
The event concluded with the awarding of medals to top three in each of the categories, by the councilman of Sports City of Totana, José Antonio Valverde Queen, and the councilman of Sports City of Pulpí, Jose Rodriguez.
The students of Group Competition Totana finally got two gold medals in the categories prebenjamín B and Benjamin, while the students of the Municipal Sports School also received two separate top spot in juvenile categories C and Junior A.
The other results, particularly noteworthy participants Lorca, who finally got ten gold medals, while also rose to the top of the podium girls and Alhama Pulpí participants, with three and two gold medals respectively.
