The Brothers of Santa have a social club located in the Annexes to Sanutario de La Santa where they can, from now on, hold regular meetings as well as store the necessary items for pilgrimages up and down the image of the patron Totana.
These works of modeling a warehouse for an approximate amount of 7,500 euros have been carried out by the Department of Facility Management Services and the City following the motion before the plenary of the Corporation by the Department of Planning and Sustainable Development July 2008.
Last summer, after several meetings with the Brothers of the Holy and the Fundación La Santa, the Consistory was committed to enable a place to compliment the work carried out by the collective.
Thus, municipal technicians stipulated that the area suitable for local installation were two disused warehouses located next to public toilets to the Sanctuary.
Both the mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, as the mayor and Comprehensive Maintenance Services of the City, Sergio Lopez, went to the shrine to check with members of Los Hermanos de La Santa what has become the new location.
The mayor said the City Council will continue working to provide a product, cultural, religious tourism and quality, focusing on the Sanctuary of Santa and Santa Eulalia de Merida.
