Municipal Immigration Service of the Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana has organized a workshop "equal opportunities", framed in the training of the training program for social competence and intercultural harmony.
The workshop was attended by a dozen people of different nationalities, Ecuadorian, Bolivian and Spanish, and was divided into two sessions: the first was delivered by a municipal service technique of immigration, which dealt with social skills, confidence self-esteem, improved techniques of social skills and basic styles of interpersonal behavior.
In the second session, the professional responsible for delivering the talk was Mari Carmen Vivancos, technical equality of the Department of Women and Equal Opportunities of the City of Totana, which addressed such diverse content such as women in history, political equal opportunities in Spain, the Second Plan of equal opportunities between men and women of Totana, in addition to inform the audience the actions carried out from the Department of Women and resources for battered women.
The duration of each session was two hours and held at the offices of the Department of Citizen Participation.
