The Agricultural Advisory Council, a body composed of representatives of trade unions, employers organizations and the sector of Agriculture and Livestock of the town of Totana, has agreed to create the corporate image of the sector to promote the overseas market through a logo.
This has been one of the main agreements that the court has agreed to the regular meeting this week.
The choice of the final design of the logo, as reported by the mayor and president of the Totana, José Martínez Andreo, is made through a contest of ideas, whose bases are to be drafted by the municipal technicians.
On the other hand, members agreed to support a proposal by the Community of Irrigators to request the granting of dry wells.
In this vein, the Department of Agriculture and Water, headed by the mayor Juan Pagán, work together to conduct a feasibility study well parrones for the acquisition of it and other wells that can help meet the needs of farmers.
The meeting created the first working committee Agricultural Advisory Council has been composed of six persons and the mayor of Agriculture and Livestock in front.
This committee was born to work on aspects related to the Fair of Agriculture and Livestock to be held in September 2009.
In this regard, Martínez Andreo informed Council members that in the municipal budgets for next year has been allocated a provision for the holding of the fair.
The political representatives gave an account of some technical aspects of various topics that are of interest to farmers and ranchers, as the new ordinance regulating rural roads, among other things.
