On Saturday 15 November saw the first regional day school for table tennis in Cartagena, where he attended nine schools in the Schools Totana Tierno Galván and Queen Sofia in the category mixed fry.
This activity was organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia and in keeping with the School Sports Programme, where the Department of Sports of the various councils work together to subsidize the cost of travel and sports teachers accompanying the students.
The College team consisted Tierno Galván Pedro Fuentes, Joseph Cote, José Antonio Valverde, María José González and Eva Victoria Murcia, while the Reina Sofia School was formed by Mary Quiñonero, Bachiri Youssef, and Mohamed Delkadir Mario Baxter.
The particpación on this first day was quite positive, with three wins for the College Tierno Galván, and two wins and a defeat for the Reina Sofía School.
The second day of this regional competition will take place on December 20, in the case of qualification for the next phase.
