The Governing Council approved the acceptance of a room of 518 square meters located on the ground floor "Eduardo Chillida", on the streets of Totana Calasparra, which the council of the municipality gives free the Regional Employment Service and Training ( SEF) to be earmarked for the new office based employment in the locality.
The premises are located in the basement of the building, "Eduardo Chillida" Calasparra street, where houses were built for young people, with indoor heated pool Totana, and the facility has a floor space of 463.65 meters square.
The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, who has expressed his satisfaction with this "good news", said the new offices of the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the Autonomous Community are to replace the existing historical INEM Totana located on Main Street Seville, and which logically have been outgrown to serve the people of Totana.
Thus, Martínez Andreo Totana has explained that in recent years experienced an increase in population from 20,000 to 30,000 people due to economic and social growth of the municipality and, therefore, the phenomenon of immigration, and that has made many services have been been overwhelmed.
The mayor said the launch of this new office will respond to the demands of responsible service in Totana, the volume of work in the Employment Office has increased over 40 percent in recent years.
