RAITOTANA project, undertaken by the Department of New Technologies, started the fourth quarter of 2008 with the development of 20 computer courses throughout the county and districts and aims to end the quarter with more than 30 courses.

The Councillor for New Technologies, Trini Cayuela, expressed his satisfaction at the figures that is throwing this pioneer project in 2008 will end with the organization of more than 70 computer courses to more than 500 people around the town of Totana.

All these courses as well as information on all classes that make up the project can be found at www.raitotana.org.

He also recalled that RAITOTA Project courses, which are free and continuous nature, has no specific dates to achieve them, but they are becoming continuously according to the existing demand for them.

Applications for courses can be collected and delivered at City Hall.

Are currently teaching 2 courses at the Centre for Local Development, 2 Citizen, 3 in the Parral, 5 in jail, 5 in the Senior Center, 2 in the neighborhood of San Francisco and 1 in the Paretón.

The courses offered are Computer Literacy, Basic Computer, Internet, Word, Excel and Access as well in September this year has added two new courses, one of PowerPoint, and other Digital Photo.

In addition, the mayor wanted to remember, that the City of Totana signed a collaboration agreement with the Foundation Cibervoluntarios "for the development of recruitment and training program for rural Cybervolunteer to streamline call centers located in different districts of the locality.

The signing of this agreement is to establish and develop the project in Sociodigital Center RAITOTANA classrooms.

Sociodigital Center project is based on achieving a space equipped with the infrastructure and tools necessary to access new technologies as a means to facilitate the solution of social problems of substance in their immediate environment and promote the use of new technologies.
