The town of Totana has a new ambulance equipped with the latest technological advances that provide emergency services in primary care (PCES) 24 hours by a doctor, a nurse and a technician in medical transport.

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, Councillor for Health, Trini Cayuela, the manager of the Management Area III only Murciano Health Service, Dr. José Luis Albarracín, the deputy director of the Hospital Rafael Méndez, María José Ubeda and the Director of Nursing, Andres Soto, have been responsible for introducing the medical vehicle.

Technology, as explained by the manager of the Area III, allows data to be sent via satellite, both affiliated to the Social Security and clinical.

The ambulance also carries a GPS system controlled by the central room of the Emergency Coordination Centre in the Region of Murcia -112 - which will guide the medical transport technician to locate the site where the emergency occurred.

Albarracín pointed out that so far this year have launched the Health Center Totana various services and health professionals have joined.
