A total of 480 people have participated in activities organized by the Youth Council of the City of Totana during the months of July and August in the Program Summer Youth 2008 ", as reported from the municipal department.
Of the participants, as pointed out from the Department of Youth, 74 percent are in the age range from 3 to 12 years.
On the other hand, the most popular activities were, as in previous years, the Summer Schools, located in the Schools "Reina Sofia", "Santiago" and "Tierno Galván", which have been developed during the month of July .
Other activities that have had more participation have been the four camps shift of the "Classrooms of Nature" made in the natural environment of the Espuña, particularly in the facilities of The Stables (two shifts in July and two in August) .
In all these activities has completed more than the number of places available, with the participation of 175 children in summer schools and 180 camps.
Among the activities offered to young people, some have favored the natural environment as has been the International Work Camp which was attended by 24 young people from different nationalities, and the Youth Camp, aimed at young people aged 14 to 17 years which received a total of 30 youths.
Also, other recipients of the activities offered have chosen to travel.
Thirty on the trip to Warner Bros Park Madrid made 26 and 27 July and 28 to 31 August is planning a trip to Ibiza, with a total of 40 people.
