The City Council of Totana and the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration signed a collaboration agreement for the provision of services and programs for equal opportunity and treatment for women victims of gender violence.

Through this agreement is to establish collaboration between the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and immigration through the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia and the local Town Hall for training on gender and equal opportunities to staff government as well as professionals in any field and students.

It also seeks to promote training programs for women and promote training activities specifically aimed at preventing and detecting gender-based violence.

This agreement includes funding for the costs of operation of the Center for Individual and Group Care for Women Victims of Violence.

Through this agreement also will provide services and activities will be on equal opportunities, aimed at encouraging coeducation and the sharing of family responsibilities, encouraging actions to promote associations and social and cultural, among others.
