The service of "Volunteering and International Relations", which provides the city of Totana from the Department of Citizenship, has been in contact with the bag of registered volunteers to solicit participation of volunteers to collaborate in future activities and events organized by various bodies and associations of the locality.
The service of "Volunteering and International Relations", which is the cornerstone promotion and recognition of voluntary action, has been in touch with local volunteers in order to inform and encourage them to participate in various activities.
One of the activities that require the participation of volunteers is the "Family Harmony Day with the children of the Sahara", organized by the Friends of the Saharawi people of Totana, to be held on Saturday 23 August the site of "La Santa" from 10 am.
In this activity may participate as a volunteer in the organization and development activity, and present, and coexistence.
The deadline for entries is Thursday 21 August.
Another activity is the Regional Campaign II "Clean Up the World" which will be held on September 20, Saturday between 10 am and 14 pm, organized by the Department of Environment of the City of Totana, an activity that is basically in cleaning up an area of the Regional Park Espuņa and whose registration period is until September 5.
Also, another activity will be the "Book Project", involving the collection of disused books to send speaking through ONG'sa developing countries, to assist in the implementation and development of education in poorest countries.
This activity will take place during the months of October and November.
The activity may consist in sorting and packing the books provided by the town of Totana.
Finally, there is the "International Car Free Day, which will take place on September 22 and where / the volunteers will be responsible for providing information to the public, raise awareness of the importance of collective environmental responsibility.
