Occupational Center "José Moya, public service and municipal, which currently serves about 34 people with intellectual disabilities in the town of Totana, recinetmente has renewed its advisory board, following the recent elections.
Since 2005 this center has a body and representation, the Advisory Council, which are represented students, families and professionals, who are elected democratically through elections.
The Council also involved the mayor, city councilman in charge and the center's director.
This council, which meets three times a year, allows for various general issues related to the occupational center.
During the first three years of life of the Council have discussed issues of interest such as the Internal Regulations of the Occupational Center, the development of a commitment or need assistance to expand and adapt the center's facilities for users with greater dependence.
This body is renewed every three years, according to the rules governing it, and the last elections took place in July to renew its membership.
In the month of October will take place the next meeting of this Council, and with a renewal of its components.
