The Department of Planning & Sustainable Development has applied for a grant to the Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport for the development of actions in architecture in order to rehabilitate the House General Aznar, recently acquired by the City to make dependencies municipal.
The total budget for the rehabilitation work amounts to the amount of 538,000 euros, for which it has applied for a grant of 50 percent of the work mentioned by a total of 291,500 euros, and the rest will be funded by the City.
The City Council of Totana property recently acquired the property from the house of General Aznar of the town, with the purpose of carrying out a comprehensive reform of it to make it new municipal offices, and improve the quality of service provided to citizens basic services concentrating around the main building.
The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, who along with other officials signed the property deeds in this building, recalled the commitment made by the Autonomous Community with the City to finance part of the acquisition and renovation of the House General Aznar, whose round the amount estimated budget of 1.2 million euros.
In this sense, the regional government will subsidize at first with the Department of Housing and Architecture, through a three-year agreement the amount of 447,153 euros, which will be allocated to the acquisition and renovation of these facilities acquired by the municipality, to to make it new municipal to improve the quality of service provided to citizens and basic services concentrate around the main building.
This is an old house, listed and with an area of about 400 meters, which studies the possibility of designing a new plant.
This building will house the departments currently located temporarily in the upper BBVA, such as Housing, Land, Property and Quality, and Commerce, Crafts, Flea Market and Market Square and Immigration Services and Consumer Affairs.
