The City, through the Department of Handicrafts and Artisans of Totana associations are promoting the establishment of a craft market in the hamlet of La Santa, which will be held one Sunday a month in order to encourage tourist visits this landmark site.
The idea is that Totana artisans display their work to visitors, and set your exposure and direct sales system, all accompanied by live demonstrations of the work of local artisans and their own industry associations in this county.
This initiative, presented to the full City Council by Councilman Craft, Isabel Maria Sanchez, was passed with votes for the PP and IU and PSOE abstained.

Therefore, from this Department is working on providing a basis for the creation of a craft market in the hamlet of La Santa, so that "all craftsmen of Totana, mainly to exhibit their work to visitors," he argued the mayor, who reported that currently, there are several craft markets that run throughout the region of Murcia, Bullas like, Caravaca de la Cruz and Cehegín, among other locations.
