The Institute for Youth in the Region of Murcia and Totana City Council will co-finance the construction of the Youth Resource Centre in the neighborhood of El Parral, through a grant concecida by this entity amounting to 800,000, to be financed in four annual installments.
Local Government Board, in its last meeting, agreed to approve the report rated for Youth Resource Center, Youth Space, written by architects Guerao Francisco López and Pablo José López Egea, amounting to EUR 1,831,872.00.
Also, the Local Government agreed to accept the grant proposal submitted by the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, consisting of the contribution of 800,000 Euros distributed in the following four equal annual installments from 2008-11, and committing itself municipal co-finance implementation of that "Youth Resource Center" with the contribution of 1,031,872 euros, spread over four annual payments of 2009-2012.
In this way, begin the first steps to comply with one of the commitments made by the government team for this term.
Young Space contemplates the existence of a large center that will house the offices of the Department of Youth and adjacent to this building, there will be spaces and green areas for young people as a climbing wall and a skate park, which have so requested.
The center will be located in the neighborhood of El Parral, near the IES Juan de la Cierva, on a plot of over 3,000 meters, which includes in addition to the infrastructure, green spaces and play areas, such as skate-board.
The building is located on an area of over 3,000 meters, is divided into four floors and will have outdoor spaces.
On the floor of the crawl space is planned to locate classrooms through large modules, recording studios, music halls, radio and television, ultimately, for the training workshops.
On the ground floor, would be the cafeteria, Informajoven, a large meeting room and a showroom.
According to the blueprint, the first plant will be the headquarters of the Youth Council with offices and meeting rooms, and on the top floor would be the library, video computing.
