The Department of Social Welfare, through the Social Services Centre, reports the characteristics and requirements of the program "Holidays for more for 2008, which includes several trips so that the elderly can enjoy a relaxing holiday.
This program is organized and financed by the Ministry of Education and Science, through the Institute for the Elderly and Social Services, which annually arranges stays in coastal areas, cultural tours, nature tourism and exchanges with other countries.
Participation in a round of vacation includes roundtrip travel to places of Spain and Portugal, accommodation on full board, group policy of insurance, additional medical services to Social Security at the hotel and entertainment program.
All at a price below market cost.
Can participate in the residents in Spain who meet certain requirements, such as being over 65 years, retirement, pensioner public system of pensions, widow's pensioner aged 55 or over years old and pensioner invalidity, pensions or early retirement and have in all these cases 60 years old.
You can participate with your spouse who is not demanding requirements.
Also disabled children may participate with a minimum 45% disability, provided such disability allowed to travel and do so with their parents, sharing room with them.
The filing period ends on June 13, 2008.
