The municipal contest prizes "Crearte Joven'2008" in the form of Graffiti were delivered this weekend to coincide with several activities related to this art form, which are framed in the "Miscellaneous Youth."
The jury was composed of two persons known in the art, and chaired by the councilman of Youth, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, and three prizes for this kind have been 400 euros and two honorable mentions.
The first prize of 400Euro, Cherry went to Emilio Rosa (graffiti from the dogs, and two special mentions, equipped with 50 euros and a book of graffiti, went to Gonzalo Martínez Ramírez and Carlos Márquez Jiménez Danta.
In addition, the Youth Council held a talk on "Graffiti", accompanied by a visual display, which took place on Saturday 24 May at the cultural center "Jail", which was provided by Angel Cayuela Portela (known as Kurro ").
The talk was attended by fifteen participants and the presenter made a historical journey from the beginning of graffiti in North America until today.
Subsequently, a video that featured works by graffiti artists.
Sunday was organized to display graffiti in which all the young contestants in the competition Municipal Crearte Joven 2008 "in the form of graffiti, which also was attended by a guest artist and recognized in the Region, Ramón Pérez Sendra (known as "Peja"), which held an exhibition of graffiti.
