The VI Children's Folk Festival "Ciudad de Totana" was held last Saturday at the theater of the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail" and had great attendance, whose cultural and musical event was held within the program of festivities of Santa Eulalia' 2015.
They participated in the contest host child Songs and Dances "Ciudad de Totana" group;
and as a guest which made the group of Songs and Dances "Ciudad de Lorca".
This year, as new, the organization organized a photo contest during the festival, whose winning image will be selected and which illustrate the poster of the event in 2016.
The photos can be sent to email corosydanzasciudaddetotana@gmail.com or may lead role of photography in the social center of the neighborhood of San Francisco, which is where they perform weekly rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19:00 to 22:00 hours, respectively.
Were numerous folklore enthusiasts attended this cultural event, which has already become a classic of the festival program at this time of year.
Currently, the group of Songs and Dances "Ciudad de Totana" has about 25 children every week rehearsing traditional dances and bear the name of Totana to different places in the regional geography.
