The VI Children's Folk Festival "Ciudad de Totana" takes place this Saturday, November 28, from 20:00 pm in the theater of the Center Sociocultural "Jail", with free admission for all attendees.
Celebrations Councilman Agustin Gonzalo Martinez, and representatives of the group of Songs and Dances "Ciudad de Totana", which organizes the event, Rita Angeles Munuera and Carmona, had this cultural and musical event held within the program of festivities St. Eulalia'2015.
In the event the child host Songs and Dances "Ciudad de Totana" group involved;
and as a guest, so will the group of Songs and Dances "Ciudad de Lorca".
This year, as new, the organization has scheduled a photo contest during the festival, whose winning image will be selected and which illustrate the poster of the event in 2016.
The photos can be sent to email corosydanzasciudaddetotana@gmail.com or may lead role of photography in the social center of the neighborhood of San Francisco, which is where they perform weekly rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19:00 to 22:00 hours, respectively.
They encouraged folklore lovers to attend this cultural event, which has already become a classic of the festival program at this time of year.
Currently, the group of Songs and Dances "Ciudad de Totana" has about 25 children every week rehearsing traditional dances and bear the name of Totana to different places in the regional geography.
