The activity of the Association "El Candil" cover the entire school year and give support to those children with special educational needs in socially vulnerable.
It has recently resumed activities for children in Socio-Community Revitalization Center for Social Housing C / Argentina.
Due to the high number of families already participated last year and demands received from various groups in the municipality, the association "The Candle" has returned to bet on this project.
Group activities with less developed at the Center for Socio-Community Revitalization of Social Housing C / Argentina # 1, in schedule from 16.30 to 18.30, every Monday and Wednesday afternoon.
Furthermore it is preparing to open another room to cover the high demand of participants.
This resource is part of the actions aimed at children / as developed in the project "Integrated social support for vulnerable families" project, which is operating in Totana since October 2014, in collaboration with the City Council and supported by Totana the Directorate General of Social Policy CARM
Through this project it is to inform, support and guidance to individuals and families in situations of social vulnerability to overcome their difficulties.
It is an initiative that combines activities of individual social support and guidance, with group activities.
In group activities, the classroom to children / as of 6 to 12 years, plus a workshop of parenting skills (school parents) develops.
