A group of 25 children participated in the workshop Reading Promotion "Doctor cuentitis", and with it the new programming encourage reading organized by the city of Totana and whose development takes place in the municipal library "Mateo Garcia ".
The workshop "Doctor cuentitis" takes place on a Monday per month from 17.30 in the children's reading room with a maximum capacity of children who are interested in learning classical and popular tradition stories.
In the first workshop of this course, reading the story "Puss in Boots" by Charles Perrault, it was performed and then the participants made a number of leisure and entertainment activities related to the story.
This activity, which requires prior registration is coordinated by the library staff, it is free and is aimed at children between 6 and 9 years old, with the main objective to present the classic stories and children to acquire values will convey the stories themselves.
The workshop takes place once a month, and children interested can register at the library Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 14:00 or 17:00 to 20:00, more information phone 968 42 October 89 or email biblioteca@totana.es.
The Department of Education has sent schools a poster and informational pages for distribution.
