The Department of Social Welfare has processed a total of 147 financial aid aimed at supporting needy individuals and families in the area during the first half of this year.
This aid corresponded to 33 Social benefits and emergency support (PAES), 69 income Social Inclusion (RACI) and 45 scholarships for training assistance program FORIN.
All these aids have in common to be directed to support the provision of basic needs of people and families with insufficient economic resources, although each, according to their profile browsing and / or obtained one or the other.
It is appropriate to recall that the PAES meet the most urgent and unforeseen situations, RACI permanent low-income situations and FORIN grants are used to support educational and social learning processes.
In total, the City Council has allocated so far this year a total of 50,337 euros.
