Civil Protection Totana rescued on Saturday, the 27th, in the morning a cyclist who had suffered an accident while practicing this sport for the Path of Alburnez, a widely used by lovers of this modality in nature track, located in the boundary between the terms of Totana and Alhama.
The victim, a resident of Lorca, was wounded with a fracture in one of his ankles so was immobilized on the scene.
At 11:50 hours a call was received in activating civil protection protocol 112, so at the scene forest officials knowledgeable about the area and a medicalized ambulance were also displaced.
The rider was stabilized in the first instance in the scene and then was transferred to the Health Centre of Totana, where he was treated.
