The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities provides grants for school supplies and dining room, which spends more than 7.3 million euros to support families most in need.
Also, the commitment to resolve scholarships and fulfill your subscription coinciding with the start of classes, as was done for the first time during the present course 2014-2015 remains.
In total, over 38,000 grants will be awarded.
Families can now apply for grants of supplemental room service;
until 1 June, and books and school supplies may be requested from this Thursday, May 21 until June 4, with an extraordinary application period between 1 and 11 September for aid school meals.
In the case of support for books and school supplies, which are called study grants, the Ministry allocated 4,200,000 euros, representing an increase compared to this year's 25.37 percent, with an estimate of 34 058 grant scholarships, 7,000 more this year.
The amount of this aid is 150 euros for students of Secondary Education, and 110 for primary school students.
As for scholarships cafeteria, representing completely free of this additional service, 3,181,557 euros are allocated and consolidates increased 45.8 percent (one million euros) held in this course.
The estimate of Education is awarded more than 4,000 scholarships dining room, to which we must add another 1,000 beneficiaries of free school meals to be users of busing students.
In these two calls is continued administrative simplification, using the application in electronic form, which is available to families in the web www.educarm.es/Becas, and takes into account the family income for the year 2014, to adjust the concession to the economic situation of the family, being the most recent statement of income.
In addition, to facilitate this simplification in processing, can you enforce the documents submitted the previous year, and to the families of the status of the application will be reported through the web of parents and text messages, when indicated in application.
