On February 27 took place the XX Olympiad Chemistry of Murcia 2015, held simultaneously at the University of Murcia and the University of Cartagena.
This Olympiad is aimed at all students enrolled in the second year of Bachelor of any public or private center of the Region of Murcia who are studying chemistry education.
23 students of the Institute of International Baccalaureate Juan de la Cierva of Totana have participated in such regional Olympiad.
After evaluation of the exercises performed by 182 students enrolled from 36 centers of Secondary Education, 15 awards were given: the first three are the winners, the other 12 are runners.
Only the first ranked represent the region of Murcia in the National Olympiad and this honor was awarded to the student Manuel Romero Martínez.
The PSOE de Totana wants to congratulate Manuel Romero won the Regional Chemistry Olympiad, in addition to congratulate the work done in the department of chemistry totanero Institute and wish you good luck in their participation in the national phase to be held in Madrid on Saturday 18 April.
