The City Council has put out to tender the works to improve the provision of drinking water in the neighborhood of San Roque, Cruz Mission and lower area of â€‹â€‹the gardens, as published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia.
In the area of â€‹â€‹the Cross Mission, it will proceed to remove an ancient problem and very sued by neighbors due to the proximity with deposits of El Rulo from which it is supplied, where have serious supply problems in terms of pressure and flow is concerned, as pointed Councilwoman Services, María José Bedia.
This action is framed in the improvement plan the Municipal Water Service is being pursued with a budget of one million euros.
The council has explained that these works, the deadline for submitting applications to companies ends on January 9, will supply it from another viewpoint than the current supply, through an existing pipeline or serving through deposits of San José.
Moreover, with this performance, it also aims to vent the water tank of the Virgen de las Huertas, which caters to the entire area of â€‹â€‹the orchards.
