Totana The Basketball Club has organized the briefing "The bounds plays. Mothers and fathers of sport" to be held on Saturday, September 27, at the cultural center "Jail" from 18:00 pm by the sport psychologist, Juan Vicente Garces Blázquez.
Councillor for Sports, Bartholomew Pallares and President of Basketball Club Totana, Paloma Ibanez, presented this training activity that is directed at players, coaches, athletes and physical education teachers of this county.
In this initiative the emotional and physical benefits of sports, relationship between parents and the club, educational styles (role on the court and off), study and sport options to limit situations of our son / ay be addressed by do we want our son / daughter to practice basketball, among other issues.
The participants explained that it is shown that sport increases the neuropsychological and cognitive performance of students;
so a pedagogical action to enable stakeholders to understand the need to balance school and sport was devised.

The Totana Basketball Club will this year with a total of five affiliated teams in 2014/2015 season, including senior in high regional category, in which they play about 70 players in total;
and has a School of Minibasket for children from 3 years, as reported by his presents.
