Some 500 primary and secondary students have been trained in prevention Drogodependencias this year.

Also explained how these and other drugs affect the body, the family and social environment, as well as what might be the impact in the medium and long-term consumption of these substances.

With these workshops, which will resume next year, aims to provide objective information and appropriate training on the consequences of the use and abuse of drugs and the acquisition of skills, competencies and resources to effectively address the relationship with the same skills.

In addition, the Municipal Drug Addiction Prevention Programme has conducted awareness campaigns on drugs, including most notably the campaign of the World Day Against Snuff that-this year-has focused on raising awareness about the effectiveness of tax to snuff to reduce smoking and the adequacy of states corresponding tax increase measures.
