The Mayor of Totana, María Isabel Sánchez, has signed a four-party agreement for the creation and development of the Business Incubator with funding of 230,000 euros.
Specifically, the agreement was signed with the director of the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia, Samper Reyes, vice president of the Chamber of Commerce, Valentín Left, and President of the Foundation Incyde, Javier Collado.
This agreement aims to improve corporate governance through the equipment and startup business incubator, located in the industrial estate "The Salt Marsh", to carry out and promote entrepreneurship in order to create new jobs.
The mayor pointed out that this is one of the measures envisaged in the 70 Local Employment Plan is the working paper on which they are focusing efforts on economic, labor and social recovery of the town.
The launch of the Nursery, whose infrastructures are fully completed, will allow new entrepreneurs to value their ideas, their business models and initiatives in order to promote small and medium enterprises.
This project is funded 80 percent by the Incyde Foundation, which brings together the 85 Chambers of Commerce of the Region of Murcia and funded with the Leader and Feder Funds, and 20 by the city of Totana.
At the same event has initialed an agreement between the City and Incyde for the Business Incubator Totana be included in the corporate network of Excellence, which is the largest network of incubators in Europe.
