On Sunday March 30th at 7:30 PM in the chapel of La Santa de Totana, 'Vox Musicalis' V commemorates the centenary of the premiere of 'Auto Passion' by Lucas Fernandez, with a dramatic reading of this masterpiece of Baroque religious drama.
The reading tells the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ and borne by seven actors in the Region of Murcia: Paco Abellan (Introducer), Paco Beltrán (San Pedro), Manuel Reyes (San Mateo), Carlos Roi (St. Jerome) embodies Illan (Mary Magdalene), Charity Aliaga (Mary Salome) and Enlightened Perez (Mary Cleophas).

The religious drama 'Auto Passion' was released in 1514 and is considered one of the most important examples of this genre, also the first work of the Golden Age where a conversion occurs.
The author, Lucas Fernandez, born in Salamanca in 1474 and died around 1542.
Held a position as cantor at the Cathedral of Salamanca (whose opposition to this square overthrew composer Juan del Encina) and was professor of music at the university of that city from 1522 until his death.
With the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the auto sacramental 'Vox Musicalis' continues the work of cultural dissemination that has done since its founding in 1997.
