From the official website of the Air Force, pay a heartfelt tribute to Lieutenant Perez Calleja has been killed in the morning of October 11, after suffering an accident while preparing a topographic tour Espuña Murcia, around Air Surveillance Squadron number 13, in the town of Totana, in which it was intended.
He was rescued by a helicopter search and rescue service Air Force, based in Sewer Air Force Base and transferred to the Hospital of Murcia, where he died.
Second Lieutenant Perez Calleja was born in Vitoria for 56 years and spent most of his military career in the General Air Academy in San Javier (Murcia).
